WHAT A DAY OF TEST CRICKET!

WHAT A DAY OF TEST CRICKET!

We have won the three-test match at Historic Cricket Ground (Lords) in 1986➡️2014➡️2021. Lords is also known as the Mecca Of Cricket or the home of cricket.

And it’s a beautiful moment for all of the Indian cricket team fans to witness a beautiful win at Lord’s the most celebratory win is notched at Lord’s. 🇮🇳 conquer the venue for the 3️⃣rd time after a heated battle.

India came into the game after underperforming not just on Day 4 but the two days before that too. India’s best bet to get them out of this mess was Rishabh pant who was already batting with the tail. England had their tails up in the very first session when they got both Pant and Ishan. India’s hope for drawing the test almost seemed over and all eyes were on the bowlers with bats in their hands.

What happened was incredible, Jasprit Bumrah got a warm welcome at the crease especially after him giving some chin music to their star fast bowler James Anderson. England already had a plan prepared to intimidate the tail with Short balls and peppering them with some chatter in the middle. The chatter did not seem to be a healthy one as one of India’s calmest players on the field was visibly riled up and often had Umpires intervene.

Joe Root got his bowlers to bowl short balls to exact his revenge for peppering their GOAT Anderson, what he forgot was to set a field to the balls. The excess pep talk got the best out of both Bumrah and Shami and both scored their career best with the bat. Shami’s clean hitting not only got those extra leads to rule out India’s defeat but he also got his maiden half-century at the Home Of Cricket.

In reply it was the same magic with the ball for India, India was quick to send the openers back into the hut. Indians had now tasted blood and they wanted nothing but a victory. The Pacers used the conditions beautifully with a skilled display of swing bowling Bumrah & co. got wickets regularly. It was India’s turn to return the favor Indian batsmen chirped aloud into the ears of the English tail, there was some resistance from Buttler and Robinson but they could not bring it home.

Rain denied us in our chase on the washed-out Day 5 at Nottingham! No such issues today at Lords. There were 8 more overs to get the English players out. The passion, energy & killer instinct of this Indian cricket team is truly amazing! Bowlers have been outstanding in both bowling & batting. They are the stars and we should definitely give the credit to our Bowlers.
