– Jio And Qualcomm Announce Call Of Duty Mobile Aces eSports Tournament
– The Tournament Will Be Hosted On JioGames From 1st April And Will Go On Till April 11 For Solo Players and April 30 For Teams, Features A Total Prize Poll Of Rs 25 Lakh.
India’s Biggest Company Reliance India Limited(RIL ) and chipset manufacturer Qualcomm have come together and announced the Call Of Duty Mobile (CODM) New Esports challenge. It will be hosted on Jio’s own platform called JioGames.
This Step will take the Indian Gaming Level to More Heights.
Last year In an interview with Satya Nadela CEO of RIL told That “Gaming will be bigger than music, movies, and television shows put together.”
Jio Said In a press Release “The collaboration between the two is set to bring superior gaming experiences to the gaming enthusiasts across India through multiple contests that will be organized by JioGames on the JioGames Esports platform with QCTAP as a title sponsor. The collaboration will start with the first contest, ‘Call of Duty Mobile Aces Esports Challenge’, featured on the JioGames Esports platform”.
Rajen Vagadia, VP and president of Qualcomm India, Told, “Mobile gaming is one of the fastest growing segments in India. Almost 90% of gamers in India are using their mobile as their primary device for gaming. We wanted to collaborate with a brand like Jio that deeply understands the opportunity and matches our belief, not only in the superlative experiences our technology delivers but also in the tremendous gaming capabilities of Indians in the hyper-competitive world of mobile esports.”
CODM will have scope for both solo and team deathmatch modes.
Registration For This Competition Has Already begun on April 1, Registration will close on 11th April for solo mode, And For Team Mode You can register yourself till 30th April. Qualifiers for this Esports tournament will be held on June 11, and the finals of the tournament will be played on June 20, on Jio’s own platform called JioGames. The challenge is open to all whether you’re a Jio user or not, and the best thing about it is that there are no registration or participation fees involved in it.
Despite that, They Have announced a total prize pool of whopping 25 lakhs for winners.
This Will encourage more people to take part in This Esports Competition.
