Bernard Arnault Became World’s Richest Person Surpassing Jeff Bezos

 

Bernard Arnault, Chairman of Louis Vuitton has Surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos In Terms Of Wealth And Became The World’s richest Person, according to Forbes Real Time Billionaire List.

This is not the first time he has become the world’s richest person, earlier in December 2019, January 2020, May 2021, and July 2021 he achieved this foot. According To Forbes Real Time Billionaire List, This French Tycoon has a total net worth of $198.9 billion and Jeff Bezos is behind him with a total net worth of $194.9 billion followed by Elon Musk With a Total Net Worth Of $185.5 billion. He overtook Elon Musk when his company reported revenue of €14 billion in the first quarter of 2021, which increased by 32 percent when compared to the first quarter of 2020.

Bernard Arnault’s LVMH Oversees an empire of 70 big brands of the world which includes Louis Vuitton, Sephora, Tiffany & Co, Stella McCartney, Gucci, and Christian Dior.

In January 2021, LVMH completed one of the biggest deals for American Jeweler Tiffany & Co for $15.8 billion, it is believed to be the biggest luxury brand acquisition ever.

Now it will be interesting to see whether French Business Tycoon Bernard Arnault can hold the world’s richest person tag for a long time or whether Jeff Bezos Will Again Regain That Tag Soon.
