Who is Parag Aggarwal?
Parag Aggarwal was born in Ajmer (Rajasthan), India on 21 May 1984. Later he shifted to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India into a moderate family and spent his childhood in Kharghar. He completed his schooling at atomic energy central school. He was deeply interested in mathematics from his school days and won a gold medal in the physics Olympiad in Istanbul, turkey. After completing his school, he got admission to IIT Bombay after scoring 77 ranks in the joint entrance examination and completed his graduation in computer science from IIT Bombay. After graduation, he went to Stanford University in the US to complete his doctorate in computer science. While completing his Ph.D., he was working as an Intern in a higher position at Microsoft, Yahoo, and AT&T Labs.

He is married to Vineeta Aggarwal, A general partner in Andreessen Horowitz in 2015. They have a son named Ansh and also have a daughter, whose name is Anamika Aggarwal. Parag Aggarwal, an IIT and Stanford alumni, started his career as an Intern in Microsoft, Yahoo, and AT&T Labs. In 2011 he joined Twitter as a software engineer after 4 years he got a promotion and was elevated to the post of chief technology executive CTO after succeeding Adam messenger in 2015. As CTO he is responsible for the company’s technical strategy, leading work advancing the state of machine learning across the company.
His work was limited to AI Across the consumer, revenue, and science teams. In December 2019, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced that Parag Aggarwal is going to the blue sky project as in charge.
