Flipkart Joins Hands With Adani Group To Create 2500 Jobs; Will Launch Supply Chain Hubs 

This Partnership Between Adani Group and Flipkart will have a logistics hub of around 5.34 lakh square feet in Mumbai. This Place will be leased to Flipkart by Adani Logistics, which is a subsidiary of Adani Group. And it will provide support to several thousand sellers And MSMEs In the region.

 

They are expecting it to be operational by 3rd quarter of 2022 and that will have the capacity to house around 10 million units of sellers.

They will set up a data Centre in Chennai which will create around 2500 direct jobs and thousands of indirect jobs.

 

Flipkart Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kalyan Krishnamurthy said, “The Adani Group is unmatched in the way it has gone about building infrastructure across India. What it brought to us was a unique combination of logistics, real estate, green energy, and data Centre infrastructure capabilities…. These investments will help us strengthen our presence and capabilities in India to support MSMEs and sellers while also accelerating job creation and growth.”
